After releasing the February 2025 update for a bunch of Galaxy smartphones, the company started distributing it for Galaxy A series devices also. As of now, the Galaxy A73 5G is the first A series smartphone to get the February update.
The update is currently rolling out in some Asian countries; more specifically, it is currently spotted in Malaysia. The new firmware version A736BXXSAEYB2 brings the February update for the Galaxy A73 5G, and the software update comes in a package size of 392.81 MB.

The February update for the Galaxy devices contains fixes for over 40 issues, from critical to moderate. Also, the update carries some improvements to offer stable performance. Galaxy A73 users can check the latest software update availability by navigating to System settings » Software update » Download and install.
The Galaxy A73 was announced almost three years ago with quality specifications. It comes with a Snapdragon 778G processor. The A73 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It was released with Android 12 out of the box, and this latest security update is rolling out on Android 14-based One UI 6 running A73 units.
On the rear side, it is equipped with a decent quality quad rear camera setup, while on the front it sports a 32 MP selfie camera. The A73 also features a massive 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
