Samsung announced the Galaxy S24 FE yesterday with Android 14-based One UI 6.1. And it will get software update support until 2031. In which the device will receive seven Android updates and the same year of security patches. After Samsung’s official commitment, the Galaxy S24 FE is now one of the few devices that will get 7 years of software update support.
Apart from the software update policy, the device also comes with some great features and specifications. It comes with many Galaxy AI and non-Galaxy AI features. The device is equipped with Google’s Circle to Search feature.
However, in terms of specifications, the device comes with the Exynos 2400e chipset. It sports a 10 MP front camera for great selfies. On the back side, it has a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP (wide), 12MP (ultra wide), and 8MP (telephoto) camera.
It features a 6.7-inch dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device comes with single 8GB of RAM and three storage options, including 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Design wise, the company has made few noticeable changes.
Moreover, the Galaxy S10 Plus and S10 Ultra are also launched alongside the S24 FE. Both new tablets also support the same seven-year update policy. Also, these devices come with Galaxy AI features, including Circle to Search.
