Apple recently introduced a new feature – Image Wand at its biggest WWDC 2024 event. Now, it seems that Samsung could bring this iPadOS 18-like AI drawing tool to Galaxy devices.
It has already been reported that Samsung has started One UI 6.1.1 internal testing for Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5. It is expected that the latest One UI 6.1.1 update will bring AI-powered upgrades to enhance users’ experience.
Samsung to bring AI-powered drawing tool with One UI 6.1.1
A well-known tipster @UniverseIce on X posted a post. That suggests the Galaxy AI on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will convert rough sketches (graffiti) into a perfect drawing. A tipster also hints the new AI tools of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will bring this graffiti function even before Apple.

Samsung could add this feature to the One UI 6.1.1 update. Especially for Galaxy Tab series devices since they are compatible with the S-Pen. Samsung is close to introducing its next-generation – Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 devices. At the next Galaxy Unpacked event next month in July a bunch of latest Galaxy products will take the floor.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 will run One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14 out of the box. If this is to be believed, then Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 will have the feature ready to be used by users before Apple does. This feature will be powered by Generative AI tools, the same as Apple’s Image Wand.

At the moment, it is not clear yet exactly how this feature would work. Apple stated that “Apple Intelligence” – powered features will be compatible with iPads, iPhones, and Macs by the end of this year.
Apart from this AI-powered drawing tool called Image Wand, Apple also introduced dozens of new iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 features that already exist on Samsung devices.
