Samsung is aggressively setting up for One UI 7 (Android 15). This upcoming major update will bring a noticeable change, including a redesigned Gallery app icon. The update will bring a multicolor app icon.
Samsung to bring colorful icon for Gallery app
Before any official announcement, One UI 7 leaks and rumors are continuously knocking on the doors of the tech market to tease Galaxy fans.
A few days back, a user on X shared a post suggesting that the upcoming update brings notable upgrade changes, customization options, and new features, most of which will be quite similar to iOS 18. He also mentioned that the One UI 7 will redesign the Gallery app icon which will be inspired by iOS.

Now the same tipster released the newly designed Gallery app icon which will arrive with One UI 7. The new icon is more vibrant than the current one.
What’s new in the One UI 7 redesigned Gallery app icon
Currently, in One UI 6.1.1, the gallery icon is plain monochrome. It features a square shape with rounded corners, filled with a shade of purple, on which a white flower-shaped symbol appears.

Now, based on the leaked photo, the newly designed icon will appear in vibrant colors. It will feature an almost circular white shape on which flower-like multi-colored petals are housed, including pink, purple, green, yellow, and red.
One UI 7: Expected features
Apart from the redesigned app icon, the upcoming update is highly anticipated to bring dozens of new features including AI-powered tools. New customization options, upgrades, and changes will also arrive to enhance the overall system software.
One UI 7 eligible Galaxy device list includes almost four dozen Galaxy smartphones. Reportedly it will bring vertical app drawer and App Lock like convenient features.
