Mark your calendar on 3 October! Android 15-based One UI 7 will be on stage on 3 October 2024 as Samsung indirectly hinted in a way. After a long wait, the One UI 7 release date is revealed.
2024 is the countable year for Samsung since it has back-to-back major plans. Within 14 days it will host a Galaxy Unpacked Event. A few months later it will host SDC 2024 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in Downtown San Jose, California, on October 3.
One UI 7 release date revealed
We are just 14 days away from the biggest iteration of the year among Galaxy users, One UI 7. The Korean giant announced that SDC24 is scheduled for October 3, which will be the formal launch date for One UI 7. Undoubtedly the first day of the conference will surely be dedicated to the debut of One UI 7.
On the other side, Google also announced its Made by Google event for August, which will be the launch event of Android 15 alongside the Pixel smartphone. Once the Android 15 goes live, Samsung will start rolling out the One UI 7 Beta program for its flagship Galaxy device.

Currently, Samsung is actively focusing on the Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 which will be introduced on Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. It was reported that due to One UI 6.1.1, the One UI 7 could face delay, but fortunately, that’s not the case anymore.
One UI 7 internal test build updated for Galaxy S24 is already on the official server several times. It’s expected that the One UI 7 beta program will begin in August. Over 50 Galaxy smartphones and tablets are eligible to receive the One UI 7.0 update.
One UI 7 expected features
Android 15-based One UI 7 is expected to bring notable upgrades in Bluetooth Auracast, NFC, UI design, animations, a vertical app drawer, and enhanced battery life. It is also reported that Samsung One UI 7 to bring the App Lock feature.
