Samsung Developer Conference 2024 is live in San Jose. At the SDC24, Samsung announced that the Android 15-based One UI 7 beta version will be available for developers by the end of this year.

Finally, something official regarding One UI 7 came into existence. At the SDC24, Samsung teased the One UI 7 beta. It also offers the audience a sneak peek at the new software at the event. 

Samsung previewed a sneak peek of One UI 7 at the SDC24, pointing out its new UX focused on simple, impactful, and touchy design. The company highlights its new interface design and integration with Galaxy AI features. 

“One UI 7 beta will be available to developers before the end of this year.”

This means that the wait is not over yet, we just have a timeline to wait for One UI 7 beta now. Samsung will release the One UI 7 beta update by the end of this year, which suggests a stable update could be released next year.  

Samsung still sticks to its ritual of releasing several beta updates before a stable version of the latest One UI update.

A tipster, Anthony, on X, shared a post stating that One UI 7 launches next year with the new Galaxy devices. The Galaxy S25 is the first flagship series in the line to debut in early 2025. This hints that maybe the stable version version of One UI 7 could announced on Galaxy S25.

However, Samsung just hinted at the One UI 7 beta timeline and nothing more. But it’s officially clear that big changes are on the way to arrive with One UI 7. It will bring a completely new interface. It remains to see whether the update will be worth this much delay.
