The Korean giant is now setting up to expand the advancement of its Galaxy smartwatch family. A new Samsung patent is spotted online dedicated to detachable strap mechanisms for its Galaxy watches.
If the report from 91mobiles is to be believed, a new Samsung Patent surfaced online dedicated to a new mechanism; detachable straps for wearable Galaxy watches.

This means that Samsung is working on novelty to detach straps more easily for its future Galaxy watches. The reason behind this step appears to offer an even easier detaching or attaching experience and fit check.
This year Samsung debuted the seventh-generation Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. It is supposed to debut the Galaxy Watch 8 next year. So it could be possible that it will use the detachable strap mechanism with it.

Core
The core of the smartwatch design consists of two parts as mentioned below –
- A Fixed part and a Movable part.
The fixed part remains in place, whereas the movable part can shift relative to it.
Strap
The strap is a seamless piece consisting of two band halves and a frame that connects to the core. You can easily be attached to the core by placing it over it and can also be detached for convenience.
Grooves (hollow cutouts)
The strap appears to be connected to the core using grooves and fastening portions.
