The Korean giant has already started gearing up to expand the Galaxy S series by introducing the Galaxy S25 series. It is expected that the brand could power the Galaxy S25 series with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. The reports are saying that again Samsung could depend on Qualcomm’s processor completely for the Galaxy S25 series.
The entire Galaxy S25 series will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 4
After the failure of the Exynos 2200 on Galaxy S22, Samsung powered the entire Galaxy S23 series with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. In the recent Galaxy S24 series, Samsung used its in-house Exynos 2400 for Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ in particular markets. Now it appears that the entire Galaxy S25 family will have one processor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, worldwide.

A tipster on X named Tarun Vats reposts a post of Ming-Chi Kuo that suggests that Samsung is looking forward to using one application processor worldwide named Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.
Why Samsung could use Snapdragon for the entire Galaxy S25 series
The reason behind this appears as the Exynos 2500 may not ship due to the Korean brand’s lower-than-expected 3nm yield. Transparently, Qualcomm will potentially be the sole SoC supplier for the Samsung Galaxy S25 in comparison to 40% for the Galaxy S24.
Fortunately, this report comes true, this will be beneficial for the upcoming Galaxy S25 series. However, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 gen 4, will boost up to 25 to 30% in the price of the Galaxy S25 family. So that Qualcomm will benefit significantly from the increased share of the upcoming Galaxy S25 orders.
Following the previous Galaxy S series launches, the Korean firm is supposed to launch the forthcoming Galaxy S25 in early 2025. It will remain to see if this news comes true.
