After all of Samsung’s flagships, the company started delivering the much-awaited One UI 7 update to its midrange smartphones. As of writing, two Galaxy A series smartphones have started receiving the One UI 7 update in the US.

Both smartphones already received this major upgrade in some Asian regions, and now it is expanding to the US. More specifically, the update is currently spotted on Verizon-locked units of both smartphones. Unlocked and remaining carriers will also get the update in the coming days.

Galaxy A54 users can recognize the One UI 7 update with build number A536VSQUFFYE2. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A53 smartphone units are getting it with build version A546VSQUBDYE5.

Both Galaxy devices are getting most of the useful One UI 7 features, including the Now Bar, improved Galaxy AI features, new customizations, and many more. Along with these useful features of One UI 7, the update also includes the latest May 2025 Android security patches to fix security issues.

While the One UI 7 stable update is currently in the rollout stage, Samsung surprised users by releasing the One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series yesterday.

The One UI 7 beta was quite late, due to which Samsung had to face users’ frustration, so maybe this time Samsung released the Android 16-based One UI 8 beta program before expectations to win back the trust of users for its software support.
