Galaxy S25 Edge’s new firmware update brings June security patch

Samsung started distributing the first software update to the Galaxy S25 Edge in Europe and India. The brand-new firmware is mainly focused on the June 2025 security patch. It brings fixes for over 50 vulnerabilities to boost the overall security of the device.

The new software build is pushed with version numbers S937BXXS1AYF1 and S937BXXS1AYF3 in Europe and India, respectively. Following India and Europe, it will also be released in other regions in the coming days.

Along with new security patches, it also includes stability improvements for better device performance. Galaxy S25 Edge users can check the latest software update by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install.

Apart from this, the One UI 8 Beta test program is going on for the Galaxy S25 series, but the S25 Edge is not included. The device is expected to directly get the stable version following the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra.
