Samsung has started providing the latest security update for one of its rugged tablets. The Galaxy Tab Active3 is receiving the January 2025 update in the European region. The update does not include new functionalities or features but integrates January 2025 Android security patches to improve the device security.
This latest software is currently spotted on the LTE variant of this rugged Tab. European users of the Galaxy Tab Active3 can recognize it with build version T575XXSCEXL1, and other regions can also expect this update in a few days. Three months ago it received its last software update in the form of the October 2024 patch.
It also improves the overall stability of the device in some scenarios. Galaxy Tab Active3 users can follow the given steps below to check the latest software update.
- First go to the Settings menu.
- Then tap on the Software update option.
- Now click on Download and install.
Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab Active3 in 2020 with Android 10-based One UI 2, and later it received 3 major upgrades in the form of Android 11, 12, and 13, respectively. It houses an 8-inch PLS LCD display. The device comes with an IP68 rating, which makes this tab dust- and water-resistant.
