Samsung confirmed eligible devices for One UI 8 beta program

Samsung has already rolled out the One UI 8 beta (changelog) update for the Galaxy S25 series. Now, over time, it has confirmed a list of Galaxy devices that are eligible for the One UI 8 beta.

One UI 8 (Android 16) current status

Last month, Samsung opened the One UI 8 beta program for its most recent flagship devices, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Currently, the Galaxy S25 series has received the beta update in selected markets, including the US, UK, Germany, and Korea. It’s expected that soon the company will roll out the One UI 8 beta 1 update for the Galaxy S25 series in India and Poland.

Right after opening the One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S25, Samsung started testing it for more devices, such as tablets, foldables, and smartphones.

Recently, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra was spotted running Android 16-based One UI 8 on Geekbench, which means the company could open the beta program for it soon.

Now, Samsung has created a page for the Galaxy S22 One UI 8 beta program on its Community forum. This hints that the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are eligible for the beta program.

If the Galaxy S22 series is eligible for the beta program, this means that the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 series are already confirmed to join the beta program. All of these spotlights make a list of Galaxy devices eligible for the beta program. Let’s take a closer look at the list.
