Samsung with the latest One UI 7 offered impressive features and improvements, including Now Bar. It is a pill-shaped widget that appears at the bottom of the lock screen and delivers quick access to frequently used apps.

One UI 7 Bar Now to integrate Gemini Live
According to a new report from Android Authority, Google May bring the new Gemini Live controls to the One UI 7’s Now Bar.
It is being speculated by the latest version (15.52.37.sa.arm64 ) of Google App, which reveals a sneak peek at the advancements.

Reportedly, Google is developing phone-call-style controls for Gemini Live, which will include two buttons to manage ongoing chats without even digging into the app as mentioned below –
- Hang up
- Hold
This new development could offer the opportunity for Samsung to integrate Gemini Live into One UI 7’s Now Bar, because the tool already supports phone calls, Google’s AI chatbot could fit nicely into the system.
Android Authority spotted “code fragments” that hint at the ongoing work towards the Now Bar integration with Gemini Live. Once, the development completes, the Galaxy users should be able to hold and resume their Gemini Live conversations through Now Bar.
What is Gemini Live
Google introduced Gemini Live as a conversational AI assistant which is truly free. It allows users to have a natural conversation with it. Currently, it is already available on iOS and Android devices and also supports many languages.
However, Samsung has yet to release any official word regarding this report, so it remains to see whether this report will come true.
