After ensuring security patches for around 35 Galaxy devices, Samsung has started sending the November security update for the Galaxy S22 series as well. Currently, the update is rolling out in the US; more specifically, the update is spotted on carrier-locked units. In a few days, unlocked units of the Galaxy S22 will also get the November security patch.
Galaxy S22 November update details
The November 2024 update can be identified with the new firmware numbers S901USQS7EXK4, S906USQS7EXK4, and S908USQS7EXK4 for S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra, respectively. Notably, the new update is available on many networks, including T-Mobile, MetroPCS, US Cellular, Dish Wireless, Spectrum Mobile, and more.
The latest update for the Galaxy S22 includes November 2024 Android security patches to ensure overall security of the devices. The November patch comes with fixes for around 52 issues in Galaxy devices. Along with these security patches, the update also brings a new Maximum Restriction mode in Auto Blocker.

According to some recent leaks, the Galaxy S22 series users have to wait around 3 months for the One UI 7 upgrade. The company may start the One UI 7 beta program next month for Galaxy S24 series devices.
