The Samsung Galaxy S25 is soon to be the family of five siblings! Yes, you read that right. Samsung is developing the fifth variant under the same series, Galaxy S25 FE, to launch soon.

Usually, the company launches three standard variants under its Galaxy S series, including Base, Plus, and Ultra, and later it introduces the FE (Fan Edition) model of the series.

However, it is not the case with the newly launched Galaxy S25 series. Earlier this year, Samsung already debuted the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones. Now it is all set to launch the Galaxy S25 Edge next month, and already working on the Galaxy S25 FE.

The Galaxy S25 FE is just beyond expectations, at least in this scenario, where Samsung is about to launch the Galaxy S25 Edge. Fans are already waiting for the Galaxy S25 Edge, which is rumored to debut sometime in May.

According to a report from Android Authority, Samsung is working on the Galaxy S25 FE. Our colleague spotted a string including a letter ‘R’, which typically refers to the FE smartphones. Since the previous FE models build number also includes ‘R’, which are as follows –

Samsung to power the Galaxy S25 FE with Exynos 2400e

The upcoming Galaxy S25 FE is expected to be powered by the Exynos 2400e chipset. Reportedly, the R12 and R13 use the S5e9945 chipset, which is the part number of the Exynos 2400/2400e process.

If this report comes true, then it will be a downgrade, since the standard variants of the Galaxy S25 series are powered by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip worldwide. The coming Galaxy S25 Edge will also be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset.

However, Samsung has yet to stand out regarding the existence of the Galaxy S25 FE, so it remains to be seen what happens next.
